Growing up as a military child, I grew to appreciated the world's differences. My parents showed me what great things I could learn from our travels during the different places my father was stationed at various military installations. We were a family in which we did not want to be confined to just where we were comfortable and familiar; we lived on the economy so that it would force us to learn different cultures. As an adult I appreciate the experiences I learned as a child that gave me so many opportunities and insights to always thirst for knowledge and understanding of things that were familiar. Although while raising a family with my husband I was not afforded the liberty to travel as much as when I was as a child. It hasn’t been until after my children left to be on their own I have been able to get back to traveling and exploring. I have never lost the thirst for knowledge of other places that are off the familiar path and have been sharing my experiences with others. This is why I decided to develop this site to begin to share with the masses on how the thirst to travel and learn can be accomplished.
