About Me

Growing up as a military child, I developed a deep appreciation for the world’s diversity. My parents showed me the value of learning from different cultures through our travels to the many places where my father was stationed. We were not a family that stayed within the boundaries of comfort and familiarity—we chose to live on the local economy, fully immersing ourselves in each culture so we could truly understand it.

As an adult, I’ve come to appreciate how those early experiences shaped my perspective. They gave me a lasting curiosity—a thirst for knowledge and a desire to explore beyond what is familiar. While raising my own family with my husband, I didn’t have the same freedom to travel as often. Life required me to pause that part of my journey for a time.

Now that my children are grown and building lives of their own, I’ve been able to return to traveling and exploring the world again. That desire to learn and discover never left me—it simply waited for the right season to reemerge.

Through my travels, I’ve begun sharing my experiences with others, inspiring them to step beyond their comfort zones. This is what led me to create this platform: a space where I can show others that the desire to travel, learn, and experience new cultures is not out of reach—it’s something that can be pursued, no matter where you are in life.
