An experience of feeling the air in your face and witnessing a sunrise way up in the air. No, not from an airplane but from a hot air balloon. It is so surreal!
The quiet morning air, the giant burst of flame, and the sight of the balloon rising upright all made the experience wonderful. As a first-time rider, I was more excited than nervous; however overall amazed all at once.
From climbing into the basket and lifting off the ground, the feeling was surprisingly gentle. It is not like a sudden rush from an airplane but a simple floating upward toward the sky. Looking down at the fields, trees, and roads looked tiny below as everything seemed still and calm for that particular time. The chaos of the world seemed to disappear.
Experiencing a hot air balloon ride for the first time was both thrilling and calming. It was a kind of adventure that would change your point of view of the world and help you appreciate the beauty and stillness of everything you witness below.
